Cyclone Biparjoy has Shaken the Gujarat’s Kutch District: Govt. Announce Red Alert

The IMD issued an ‘orange’ alert for Gujarat on Monday morning during the updates regarding Cyclone Biparjoy. “Cyclone Alert for Saurashtra & Kutch Coast”. 

Biparjoy Cyclone News Updates: On tuesday the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed that Cyclone ‘Biparjoy’ situated over the east-central and is next to the southeast Arabian Sea is about to shift northwards and increasingly into a severe cyclonic storm in the next few hours. 

Changes in  weather conditions due to the upcoming storm has taken the wind speed to 135-145 kph to 160 kmph in the next forthcoming days. Warning issues have been raised for fishermen not to migrate around near by the sea by the IMD office. Wind warning is also issued for the next five days for southwestern states.

As we know the People of Gujarat are in an Endangered situation, Authorities on Tuesday tried to shift over 30,000 people from Coastal areas to sojourns arranged by the government of gujarat for two days before this news of cyclone Biparjoy’s Anticipated landfall closely Jakhau port in Kutch district of Gujarat.

Assorted Teams of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) are on standby, a government official said. Concomitantly, Defence Authoritative Officers have planned operations with Civil Administration and National Disaster Response Force to protect as many people as they can.

The Army has already provided flood relief columns at calculated locations given by IMD officials. CM of Gujarat BhupendraBhai Patel and Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the preparedness of Cyclone Biparjoy, had discussion in a virtual meeting to make arrangements for moving people who are living around coastal areas to make them reach at safer areas and make ensure that all the required services, such as telecommunication, Electricity, Health and drinking water have been provided to the needy.

Chief Minister of Gujarat Bhupendrabhai Patel made an appeal to all the citizens of the state on monday to follow the given guidelines by the state government and the district administration and try to stay indoors.

The CM also induces the public to cooperate for the time being with the administration if someone is required to relocate after the forecast by weather agencies that the Cyclone ‘Biparjoy’ can be turned into a severe cyclonic storm which can cross Saurashtra and Kutch coasts closed to Jakhau Port by the evening on 15 June.
