Asia Cup 2023 Final Highlights: IND win Eighth title with 10-wicket in Final

Asia cup 2023 Final win has been memorable for team India after beating up Pakistan and Sri Lanka and to win the Asian Cricket Cup 2023 final match. Team India is looking forward to playing in the world cup final this year. 

Asia cup final was organised on Sunday September 17, where team India won the final match and beat Sri Lanka very badly in the match. Now, India is geared up and looking forward to winning the World Cup Final title as well.

World Cup 2023 is to be held in October from 5th to November 19, 2023. It would be aspiring for team India while hosting the tournament at its homeland next month and winning the World Cup Final. Including winning the title this year, India became the first country to win the highest number of Asian Cricket Cup Titles. The Asia Cup final provided India an opportunity to showcase their potential to take the game to another level.

Mohammed Siraj has spelled the magic of seam and swing bowling with splendid figures as India crushed Sri Lanka badly by 10 wickets to win the Asia Cup title after five years. This time India won the title of Asia Cup 2023 8th time and it is also the biggest victory including 263 balls in ODIs in terms of balls remaining. 

Siraj’s relentless efforts in the match prevented players from scoring out for 50. India needed not batting with constraint as we know the highest scorer of the match is Shubhan Gill (27) and Ishan Kishan (23) did the job in just 6.1 overs. India won the title of the Asia Cup 2023 after 2018.

Titles won by Indian players are given to Kuldeep Yadav, a left-arm china man bowler and Mohammad Siraj, Right-arm bowler.

The player of the tournament title won by Kuldeep Yadav and Player of the match or Man of the match Title won by Mohmmad Siraj. Both of the players played so well in Asia Cup 2023. Mohammad Siraj conjured the seam and swing bowling to the audience for the first time and left the audience surprised through his performance. 

Highlights of The Match

As India played against Sri Lanka in Asia Cup 2023 final in Colombo. This match is going to be the biggest hit among the crowd. People were afraid as India lost the match against Bangladesh but a few players were expecting to be back with their astonishing performance. Sri Lanka had won the match against Pakistan but they needed better team coordination in the team. 

Maheesh Theekshana has been expelled of Asia Cup final:

Sri Lankan spinner Maheesh Theekshana has been expelled from the Asia Cup final after he suffered an injury blow when he played against Pakistan when he tried to prevent touching a ball to the boundary, in spite of injury and discomfort in his run-up he went on to complete his spell on the night. 

Sahan Arachchige, a 28 year old, has played two ODIs for Sri Lanka till now.

Hopefully our players have clinched the titles for the match as their performance in the match was remarkable for India. Jasprit Bumrah was first and then Siraj became the next one for this unexpected win.

All the credit goes to Ravindra Jadeja for an amazing low catch at his right. Siraj bowled with a lot of confidence and took 6 wickets against Sri Lanka. Nissanka had good form whereas Sadeera along with Mendis walked into the middle and seemed to retain a partnership to keep Sri Lanka in the match.

Hurray!! It did not take longer for India to take 5 wickets in the first innings. It is a huge   moment for us to celebrate the win. But efforts made by Mohammed Siraj are extremely appreciable. It is hard to find what hit the Sri Lankan team.

Heading to the World Cup Indian bowlers are in their bestest of performance in both pace and spinning. Other teams shall be more cautious of their moves as they always surprise the crowd and opponents. In fact Kuldeep Yadav alone will be difficult to handle. India once again became the champions after winning the title for Asia Cup 2023. We will soon be back for three ODI matches against Australia.
